Gallery of Bořek Šípek, Bratislava

Gallery of Bořek Šípek was created in the atrium of Dessewffy’s palace in the city centre of Bratislava. The space itself is made in bright colours, to not compete with exhibited art pieces.

Šípek’s glass objects are very original, so on one of the walls are just white shelves, organized as chessboard, then i tis possible to expose higher objects also.

Shelf fundament, veneered by Bubinga rotary veneer, provides exposition of smaller objects such as candlesticks, glasses or carafes. There is also a part of glass wall placed on it. Glass wall separates gallery from side hall, this is quite unique solution – from technical and design point of view.

Inner space of gallery is filled by Bořek Šípek’s furniture.
