Living room with kitchen

We were addressed by young couple who is building a house – wooden construction house in the suburbs of Brno. They characterised their ideas as follows: „We love pure, simple and elegant style. Practicality and usability of space, no complexity. So, minimalistic, modern style.

Nowadays, there are two household members, but in future they plan to have two cheerful children.

 

Whole interior is tuned in light colours, which are completed by contrasting black and yellow. Door and window are in European oak decor, in same decor, but shade lighter is also flooring. Furniture has also European oak decor, but in combination with white lacquer.

 

Main part of kitchen is made through whole height of the room, cabinets with our favourite non – handle solution. Instead of tiling on the wall, there is window, which provides beautiful view during cooking. Window and worktop are made from European oak, it would be natural to tile walls by same material. Around the upper part of kitchen cabinets there is a wooden frame, which correspond to the main idea of the whole interior. Cooking zone is situated to a kitchen island, so there can be placed designer extractor hood. Island is also part which connects cooking and residential part of interior.
