Achilles´s mother, sea Goddess Thesis wished for her son to be immortal. According to one of legends she bathed him in the river Styx; according to the other she applied ambrosia on his whole body. No matter which legend you prefer the fact is that she did not treat one spot - his heel, which later became fatal to him. The folding table was pampered with the same care but you do not have to be afraid of any Achilles´s heels. The base is made of solid wenge, the handle for manipulation with the table is rounded for higher comfort. The sophisticated folding system consists of a base in the shape of cross when the table is unfolded.  The top of the table is inlayed with bubinga and wenge veneers. The natural structure of each veneer shows the history of trees used for manufacture of the veneer sheets.
