Veneer Bookcase

Investor who has beautiful flat full of art objects and artefacts. He has also historic piece of furniture – bookcase from the era of the 1st republic, veneered by American walnut, in his collection. At the bottom of it, there are doors, where veneer is layered in book match. In the upper part, there are open shelves in combination with glass doors.

Investor needed to enlarge storage space, so he asked us for production of lower bookcase, which pairs with existing one.

Veneer is natural material and is influenced by time and sunlight, it is impossible to make the same piece after years, because there are always colour or structural differences. But that’s, we think, prove of using natural materials and the way to distinctive interior.
