WINE BAR MIKULOV

Design of layout of hotel wine bar in Mikulov is based on existing layout so that was necessary to make as few alternations as possible.

Layout consists of three major functional zones – private dining room or lounge connected with hotel restaurant, wine shop with degustation room and wine bar, also connected with hotel restaurant with sliding door. Lounge and wine shop are connected with glass wall to achieve optically bigger space.

 

Other part of design is visual concept of space to meet current design requirements and genius loci of hotel. Existing terracotta tiles on the floor and rough plaster are completed with natural wood decors and anthracite and black colours.

Seating is solved with classic tables for more persons on the one side and on the other side with long upholstered bench and small tables for two which are complemented by various chairs. Bar is made from solid wood, behind the bar there are low cabinets on the wall and crooked shelves for bottles of wine. The dominant for whole space are glass chandeliers.
