Numakulla was in mythology Aborigines pair of celestial gods who created all life on earth. Numakulla is very free spirit and enjoying the company of the gods. Sometimes is portrayed as two in one sometimes as two separate gods. This parallelism corresponds to the two chairs, each by itself may be in the stowed position the image slung on the wall and then in the unfolded chair as such.


The chair is made of solid beech. Verso is veneered by eucalyptus, front then manually spliced impressive inlay walnut and walnut polar Africa. Inlay motif of concentric circles and the diverging rays based on Aboriginal art, which carries a sacred spiritual knowledge. Edges chairs are stained into the decor of eucalyptus.
